Doctoral and Postdoctoral Scholarships GHI London

The German Historical Institute London awards scholarships twice a year to doctoral and postdoctoral students with links to German universities. The scholarships enable research work that requires a period of stay in Great Britain or Ireland for the purposes of accessing particular sources or literature.

The scholarship amounts to 2,200 EUR per month for doctoral candidates and 2,600 EUR per month for postdocs. An allowance in the form of a monthly lump sum is paid for children under the age of 18. Stays of up to three months are funded.
